Bobby Jones Links is hiring for a General Manager to oversee Chapel Hills and Mirror Lake Golf Club.The General Manager (GM) oversees all aspects of the golf club's operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests while maintaining financial sustainability. The GM provides strategic leadership, manages staff, enhances club services, and ensures the club operates at a high level of efficiency and profitability.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Manages all aspects of the club including, but not limited to:
  • Provides effective leadership, direction, supervision, accountability and guidance to all departments.
  • Direct oversight of the golf tee sheet to ensure accuracy and revenue optimization.
  • Maintains contact with members and helps to assure maximum member satisfaction
  • Assist in the preparation of the club's annual budgets and implementation.
  • Hold all departments accountable for achieving their monthly and annual financial goals.
  • Oversee all approved capital improvements at the facility for schedule and budget.
  • Complete all required reports for the clubs.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise department managers and staff to ensure high performance.
  • Ability to organize tournaments and their marketing to expand the client base.
  • Ability to assist in membership marketing to expand outreach.
  • Optimize efficiency and accountability between the two club resources.
  • Maintaining control over cash flow and collections.
  • May serve as a departmental manager in applicable absences.
  • Manage the club's cash flow and establish controls to safeguard assets and ensure the proper use of funds.
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of all the club's physical assets and facilities.
  • Coordinate the marketing and member-relations programs to promote the club's services and facilities to present and potential members.
  • Ensure the highest standards for food, beverages, sports, recreation, entertainment, and other club services.
  • Oversee the purchasing, receiving, storage, issuance, preparation, and control of all products, supplies, and equipment.
  • Oversee risk management programs to ensure that adequate safety measures are implemented and maintained. Protect members, associates, and club assets.
  • Ensure that the club operates in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements
  • At least Seven years' experience in a Golf club leadership position is a MUST. Ten years is preferable.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Result Oriented.
  • College degree preferred.

  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
