Job description

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy supporting a variety of functions that help keep operations running smoothly? If so, Interior Federal Credit Union is looking for a dependable and service-oriented Credit Union Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you'll provide administrative and operational support to our Member Services, Lending, and Debt Resolution teams. From maintaining records and processing documents to supporting lending activities and ensuring account accuracy, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service to our members and supporting the Credit Union's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Member Services, Lending, and Debt Resolution, including mail processing, document scanning, file maintenance, and record management.
  • Perform quality control reviews and generate reports to support account accuracy, record maintenance, policy compliance, and internal audits.
  • Support consumer and home equity lending activities, including post-funding tasks, loan file maintenance, loan check processing, and document management.
  • Prepare and process debt resolution documentation, including bankruptcies, garnishments, notices of intent, affidavits, and charge-off payment reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Experience: One month to one year of similar or related administrative, clerical, or financial services experience.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
