Job Title: CDL Driver (Commercial Driver’s License)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport goods efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to following all transportation regulations and company policies.

This position requires overnight travel as indicated under Working Conditions below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate to customer sites to deliver and operate 10k forklift to unload customers freight/equipment
  • Collaborate with on-site program managers to guarantee safe equipment delivery
  • Log delivery completion, required documentation, and photographic confirmation using the internal work application
  • Enforce rigorous safety protocols across all transport and on-site unloading activities
  • Manage vehicle compliance by ensuring accurate and visible transportation labeling
  • Strictly adhere to site-specific regulations by utilizing appropriate PPE
  • Operate commercial vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, box trucks) safely and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations by stopping at all required weigh stations
  • Transport goods to and from designated locations in a timely manner
  • Operate tilt level flatbed truck with chains and tie downs
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and inspections
  • Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded
  • Load and unload a forklift
  • Operate a forklift to remove equipment in and out of buildings
  • Load and unload material as needed at job sites and warehouse
  • Assist in the unpacking and packing of equipment
  • Communicate with COO, CEO, customers, and team members professionally for accurate dispatching
  • Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A or B, as required)
  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
  • Ability to pass random drug screenings
  • Proven experience as a CDL driver
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Communicate proficiently using the English language
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
  • Familiarity with regional or long-haul routes
