Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Construction Industry

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our growing construction company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction accounting, financial strategy, and proficiency in Deltek ComputerEase.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Manage job costing, WIP reporting, and project financial analysis

  • Ensure compliance with construction accounting standards

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial planning

  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

  • Work closely with ownership and project management to support business growth and profitability

  • Lead and manage the accounting/finance team

  • Assist with audits, tax preparation, and financial compliance

  • Develop financial strategies to support company expansion

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO, Controller, or senior finance leader in the construction industry

  • Strong experience with Deltek ComputerEase (required)

  • Extensive knowledge of job costing and construction financial reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
