What is an assistant cargo screening K9?

Assistant Cargo Screening K9s are specially trained dogs and their handlers who work together to detect explosives, narcotics, or other contraband in air cargo shipments. These teams are employed by airports, government agencies, or private security companies to enhance transportation security. The K9s use their keen sense of smell to screen cargo quickly and efficiently, helping to ensure the safety of passengers and goods. Handlers are responsible for the care, training, and effective deployment of their K9 partners. This role is essential in meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining secure supply chains.
