An Assistant Camera, often referred to as a 1st or 2nd AC, is responsible for supporting the camera department on a film or television set. Their primary duties include maintaining and setting up camera equipment, pulling focus, marking actors' positions, and ensuring the camera runs smoothly during shoots.
