The Opportunity:
When homeowners face sewer and water problems, they need a professional they can trust to find a solution. At Birnie Plumbing & Drains, our Sewer Sales Representatives attend pre-scheduled appointments in residential homes, listen to the needs of our customers, investigate the current status of their sewer & drainage system, and work with them to determine the best sewer repair or replacement services we can offer to meet their needs.
Key job tasks include:
  • Attend, follow up on, and close company provided pre-qualified sales leads and opportunities;
  • Build customer relationships, selling the right products and services;
  • Operate company sewer cleaning & camera equipment in order to investigate the situation and properly estimate a job;
  • Create sales estimates that are clear and accurate, which can be easily transferred to the installation team;
  • Be available to attend sales appointments when clients are available, including some evenings and weekends;
  • Help set company sales plans and propose ideas to achieve & exceed sales goals.
  • Participate in training and regular sales meetings to continue to grow as a sales professional. 

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Base salary plus commission pay structure. Annual pay range from $35,000 - $120,000 per year.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (required).
  • Previous outside sales experience (preferred). Experience in the plumbing or home services industry is considered an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • A desire to learn and follow a proven sales process.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude.
