Job description

Full-Line Maintenance Company looking to hire a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to perform service call work orders and projects for commercial, industrial and residential service locations.

In this position you must possess knowledge and experience with: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, mechanical skills, building maintenance, etc. 

Candidate must also have some type of Building Facility Maintenance background to apply.

Electrical service/repair skills with certification a plus.

Plumbing service/repair skills with certification a plus.

HVAC service/repair skills with EPA certification a plus.

NATE Certification a preferred.

Universal EPA 608 Certification preferred.

Building Engineer experience a plus.

Must have the ability to work independently as well as with others, possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent time management, outstanding customer service, trustworthy, dependable, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include:

· Digital paperwork required – tracking time, description of work, and materials

· Ability to build excellent working relationships with customers

· Investigating and resolving customer issues in an efficient, professional manner

· Provide leadership to, and work with, onsite field staff, subcontractors and other parties

· Strive for, and maintain, top-quality workmanship and service to our customers

· Ensure that all safety policies are strictly adhered to

· Constant onsite review and communication to appropriate office staff of project progress to ensure deadlines are met

· Provide quality customer service

S&D Prime Maintenance Inc. provides a full line of maintenance services to commercial, industrial and residential buildings and properties throughout the Chicagoland area and primarily in the suburbs with our office and shop/warehouse located in Addison.

Our team consists of many field technicians who have a trade specialty but also have multiple and other trade experience and knowledge for the ability to maintain the overall buildings and properties we service.

We additionally have office and support staff to assist in perform the quoting, communication, technical support & researching, scheduling, materials & parts sourcing and pickup, and billing responsibilities with the technicians in the field.

The company primarily utilizes digital platforms for a majority of our services and procedures along with phones & tablets in the field for the technicians to keep up with the evolutions and advancements of our trades, properties, and growing customer base.

Our normal operating schedule is Monday through Friday with emergency/on-call services when needed on nights and weekends.
