In this role, you’ll serve as a technical sales consultant, working with engineers, architects, owners, and developers to design, apply, and sell open-protocol Building Automation System (BAS) solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.Join an industry leader consistently recognized as a **Top Workplace** both locally and nationally!### **What You’ll Do*** Drive sales growth by proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities for building automation solutions* Consult with engineers, architects, contractors, and building owners to influence BAS design and specification* Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of customer organizations—from project engineers and managers to executives and procurement teams* Generate quotes, manage bids, negotiate pricing, and close orders in a timely and strategic manner* Present and promote BAS offerings through formal presentations, training sessions, and on-site customer visits* Maintain up-to-date customer records, activities, and opportunities within the company CRM* Attend customer events and actively participate in professional organizations such as ASHRAE and TEMA to strengthen market presence and expand your network* Manage takeoffs, submittals, and coordination of construction-related sales processes* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project alignment* Uphold the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct in all business dealings* Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime or weekends when needed to meet sales goals## Qualifications### **What You’ll Bring*** 3+ years of experience in Building Automation or HVAC construction sales* Solid understanding of HVAC systems and building automation controls, with knowledge of open-protocol systems* Familiarity with Distech Controls or similar BAS platforms is a plus* Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills* Proven ability to manage the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting to closing* High level of technical and business acumen, with the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs* Experience using CRM software for tracking leads, activities, and pipeline* A proactive, self-driven approach to sales with persistence and creativity* Willingness to travel locally and represent Convergentz at customer sites and industry events* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screeningReady to help shape smarter buildings and sustainable systems?**Apply today** to join a team where innovation meets opportunity - and your success is our priority. #J-18808-Ljbffr
