In response, the state is actively working to address infrastructure needs statewide. As part of Governor DeSantis' Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative, a Corridor Project Office (CPO) has been established to expedite a series of projects in Central Florida, including along I-4 from west of U.S. 27 in Polk County to east of S.R. 536 in Orange County and the new Poinciana Connector (S.R. 538).
