Job description

Overview
Write and cash race and sports book tickets and provide Golden Nugget customers race and sports book information. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities
  • Write and cash race and sports book tickets for customers.
  • Assist customers and answer all questions they may have.
  • Balancing drawer at end of shift.
  • Keeping customer sheet racks fully supplied.
  • Selling daily racing forms to customers.
  • Head cashier to pick up and deliver all banks at beginning and end of shift.
  • Head cashier to make starting banks for all tellers during day.
  • Head cashier to receive and count all teller banks during the shift.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to work well with the public and fellow employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • High School diploma.
