Status: Regular Full-Time Position – Exempt/Salary

Position Value Proposition:
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for both small and complex multi-discipline projects. This individual will play a key role in developing pricing strategies, identifying project risks, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support successful bids and project execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed estimates for industrial construction projects.

  • Estimate across multiple trades and disciplines, collaborating closely with internal teams.

  • Prepare complete and competitive estimates, including labor, materials, equipment (crane costs, buyouts), and subcontractor quotes.

  • Develop and write proposal documents outlining project scope, assumptions, pricing, and schedules..

  • Assess project risks and provide insight on potential cost impacts or scope gaps.

  • Utilize company estimating tools and databases to ensure consistency and accuracy.

  • Assist with pricing for change orders on existing contracts and provide ongoing cost updates.

  • Ensure estimating practices are in compliance with company guidelines and contribute to process improvement.

  • Support preconstruction planning and client engagement as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of estimating experience in industrial construction with demonstrated success on complex projects.

  • Prior supervisory or lead estimator experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to interpret detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry estimating software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Physical/Site Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to job sites for site reviews or client meetings.

  • Must be able to navigate active construction environments as needed.
