Primary Location: United States (US) - Tennessee  - Greeneville   

As a Material Handler (Fork Trucking) with John Deere in Greeneville, TN, you will:

Process orders in a timely manner to support factory operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

• Load, unload, and move materials.
• Comprehend verbal and/or written work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
• Accepts assignments in different work areas based on business needs.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one of the following:

• • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
  •  At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience

• At least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial equipment in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Preferred Qualifications: (What makes you stand out) 

• 2+ years of experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 or more year of experience working in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement, waste reduction, and standard work.
• Experience using SAP, EWM, warehouse management systems, RF scanners, or similar inventory management tools.
