Job description

Employment Type: Contract - 4 months (January-April 2026), with possible 2-month extension Role Overview

The Design Engineer will create tooling and solution designs across multiple variations and validate results against performance targets. This role requires advanced CAD skills and experience in automotive or trucking environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop CAD models and detailed drawings for tooling and fixtures.
  • Design solutions to support throughput expansion and validate performance.
  • Collaborate with tooling engineers and local teams for implementation.
  • Prepare documentation packages and support design reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in tooling and fixture design for automotive or trucking industries.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
  • Strong problem-solving and design validation skills.
Work Schedule for All Roles
  • On-site presence required Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
