Job description

212° Basketball Academy is seeking a full-time Basketball Coach Intern and help with our High School and/or Post Grad teams to help administer all aspects of a competitive prep school basketball program. This position is responsible for the organization, leadership, and development of our athletes in best preparing them for college.

We hope to have you engage and inspire our student-athletes through coaching and mentoring on and off the court.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-the-court coaching for our athletes
  • Coordinate practice plans to foster skill development
  • Mentor student-athletes to foster athletic, academic, emotional, and social growth
  • Establish and enforce rules of conduct; support community service efforts; demonstrate a commitment to diversity
  • Foster a program that inspires greatness through actions, words, behavior, and accountability, and push the Extra Degree
  • Identify, recruit, and retain qualified student-athletes
  • Resident Assistant - Oversee and Assist with Living Situations


Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience with College Planning/Placement Processes
  • On-the-court basketball experience
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive for tournaments/games
  • Bilingual would be a plus
