Job description

Job Description The Water Mitigation Technician assists in the technical activities necessary to restore or repair commercial and residential properties damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, and other factors. Must respond to job sites as directed. Perform all tasks in accordance with company and industry certified standards. Responsibilities: The Mitigation Technician Lead is responsible for providing technical direction for jobs and projects involving fire, smoke, water, mold restoration. Assist in performing and leading the coordination of all facets of restoration.
  • Will give direction, oversee and participates on Jobs in Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation and Fire Damage Restoration
  • Responds to daily emergency services such as water, fire, and smoke damage jobs.
  • Responsible for the extraction of water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment.
  • Removing of damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard,... [more] cabinets, drywall, etc.
  • Takes moisture readings, measurements, sets up commercial drying equipment.
  • Assist in the scheduling and ensuring personnel are responding and performing job functions, and are completing paperwork accurately and completely
  • Will assist the Supervisor in overseeing of job setups, monitoring, and movement of equipment needed for water extraction and drying of premise
  • Duties include ensuring that Demolition is completed and debris removal has been completed.
  • Oversee projects and ensures sewage cleanup is completed and follows IICRS standards
  • Structural drying and content cleaning to industry standards
  • Provide accurate and detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, as required for each project
Requirements
  • Ability to understand and follow directions and relay those directions to the other Team members
  • Possess a positive attitude and bring it to work everyday
  • Possess strong communication skills, verbal and written. Applicants must be fluent in English & Spanish
  • The ability to work flexible hours and days as required by our clients
  • Motivated to advance within our growing company
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Excellent customer service and technical skills.
  • Must have prior experience in water damage and mold remediation.
