United Auto Exchange has an immediate opening for an experienced, dependable, motivated, and Body Shop Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to delivering high-quality repairs.
If you have experience with collision repair, panel replacement, body filler, dent repair, frame work, or vehicle refinishing preparation, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Perform quality collision and body repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Repair and replace damaged body panels and components
  • Straighten and align vehicle frames and body structures as needed
  • Prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, and priming
  • Perform dent repairs and body filler work
  • Work closely with painters and other technicians to ensure quality repairs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and shop standards
  • Assist with other body shop duties as needed

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record to be approved by our insurance
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician (collision repair experience required)
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to withstand physical demands of repetitive tasks (Bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, climb, stand, stretch, walk, stoop, push and pull)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal
