Are you someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and working outdoors? America's Auto Auction is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our Lot Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the automotive industry or gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.


What you'll do

  • Move, stage, and organize vehicles throughout the auction lot safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare vehicles for auction by ensuring they are clean, properly tagged, and ready for sale.
  • Scan, tag, and label vehicles accurately using company equipment.
  • Manage vehicle keys and identification tags according to company procedures.
  • Locate, start, and transport vehicles to support daily operations and auction-day activities.
  • Help maintain the appearance of the auction grounds, customer parking areas, and entrances.
  • Assist the Service Department and other operational teams as needed.
  • Inspect vehicles for obvious damage or safety concerns and report issues promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies, traffic flow procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support auction operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle makes and models is helpful but not required.
  • Previous experience in automotive, warehouse, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and changing temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
