The Director of EPIC Solutions is responsible for supporting the success and advancement of the EPIC solution across sales enablement, customer understanding, product alignment, and strategic growth initiatives. EPIC (Education Paging and Intercom Communication) is Audio Enhancement's communication platform designed to support campus-wide communication, emergency response, daily operations, and instructional environments.


This role serves as the division's primary EPIC subject matter expert and strategic sales support leader under the direction of the Vice President of Product Alignment. The Director will work alongside the Director of Safety and Security Solutions and Sales Engineering teams to strengthen product adoption, improve field understanding, and support the successful rollout of solutions tied to the EPIC ecosystem.


The Director of EPIC Solutions supports the Vice President of Product Alignment by helping bridge customer needs, sales feedback, operational realities, and product understanding across the organization while ensuring the Sales organization has the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to position EPIC successfully.


Duties include:

  •  Support growth and adoption of the EPIC solution through strategic sales support, product advocacy, and operational alignment.
  • Strengthen Sales Team understanding of EPIC capabilities, integrations, workflows, and value propositions.
  • Serve as the division's subject matter expert for EPIC hardware, software, integrations, and operational use cases.
  •  Support the successful rollout of new products, enhancements, and integrations connected to the EPIC ecosystem.
  • Assist the Vice President of Product Alignment in maintaining alignment between customer needs, field feedback, and operational priorities.
  • Maintain awareness of customer challenges, industry trends, and competitive solutions impacting educational communication systems.
  • Ensure product messaging, demonstrations, and field communication accurately reflect EPIC capabilities and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in product support, sales engineering, educational technology, communications systems, or related operational leadership roles. 
  • Strong understanding of educational communication systems, paging/intercom platforms, workflows, and integrations. 
  • Experience supporting sales teams through product demonstrations, customer presentations, and solution-based discussions. 
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, customer-focused messaging. 
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Experience working with customers, field teams, and operational stakeholders to gather feedback and improve solutions. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Comfortable participating in both pre-sale and post-installation customer engagement activities. 
  • Knowledge of safety/security technologies, campus communication systems, or emergency response solutions preferred. 
  • Experience with product launches, pilot programs, or implementation support preferred. 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills. 
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer visits, training events, and field engagement.
