Responsibilities:

  • Set insurance appointments using the extensive resources provided for cold outbound.
  • Perform sales activities, such as cold calling, email writing, field sales, and attending conferences, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of quality commercial and personal insurance prospects.
  • Solicit, market, bind, and maintain insurance policies for accounts self-sourced through personal efforts.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to protect their assets.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure competitive coverage options.
  • Assist with developing marketing materials and strategies for targeting new customers.
  • Gather client information according to company standards for marketing purposes.
  • Assist other agents throughout the quoting and binding process by providing administrative support with applications, quotes, and binding documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when needed by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records in the CRM and Agency Management System.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in insurance, sales, or a related field.
  • Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM's, insurance agency management systems, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • A proactive and customer-centric approach to sales and problem-solving.
