JOB TITLE: Assistant Archery Coach         

EMPLOYMENT TERM: School Year 

SUPERVISOR: Athletic Director/School Principal 

CLASSIFICATION: Coaching  

JOB SUMMARY 

An Assistant Archery Coach is responsible for the supervision of club participants, providing a safe and fun learning environment, and serving as a positive role model.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop, plan, lead, and assist with all archery activities.
  • Teach basic archery skills to club members.
  • Assist Archery Coach with ensuring safety of participants.
  • Assist with enforcing all rules and procedures.
  • Set up and take down all equipment before and after club activities.
  • Maintain a fun and competitive environment.
  • Maintain and safeguard the archery equipment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

  • Must be 21 year of age or older.
  • Must be a certified Level I Basic Archery Instructor through NASP.
  • Previous archery experience.
  • Experience working with students.
