Summary
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Marketing Office, Fairchild AFB, WA.
The primary Purpose of this position is to assist the Marketing Director or Alternate in the development and execution of marketing and advertising programs for the 92d Force Support Squadron through digital media content, Commercial Sponsorship and event execution.
This is a Regular Part-Time Guaranteed 20 hours per week eligible for Air Force NAF benefits.

Duties
Help
Assists a Marketing Director or Supervisor in developing and implementing marketing programs for FSS. Responsible for assisting with all FSS marketing, promotional, editorial and pictorial functions. Works under the direction of the Marketing Director to plan, develop (construct), deploy, and maintain 92d FSS website, digital content, social media content development and management. Assists FSS Managers/Supervisors with creation of marketing collateral, surveys, graphics, photography/videography and campaigns. Using highly developed organizational skills, serves as primary web/social media and digital content administrator, ensuring content is current and accurate, sites/profiles are functional and operational 24/7; Updates, adds, deletes, backups/restores, and revises content based on information provided by the Marketing Office or approved input from leadership on daily basis.
Position requires writing, editing, and designing content for digital publishing. Designs and develop multi-platform digital interactive multimedia consistent with non-digital media, site animation, GIF's, live streaming feeds, and special-effects elements. Assists co-workers with projects/tasks, creating/distributing a variety of marketing materials across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. Performs other marketing tasks such as text blasts, email blasts, etc. Works with Marketing department team members to ensure digital content meets squadron, mission objectives and properly reflects Air Force standards. Works with AF agencies governing web content/security to ensure all regulations and DoD guidelines are met. Uses a variety of web, social media, multimedia, graphics platforms, applications, techniques, plugins, apps, and tools. Continuously explores, recommends, uses, optimizes communication methods, technologies to engage with customers, maximize the squadron's branding, products, and services; identifies relevant new strategies/technology/industry trends to create and boost customer's engagement, brand exposure and apply them into operations and activities.
Assist in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective and efficient method of reaching the target market. Assists in administering surveys, focus groups, collecting data, tabulating responses, and analyzing results. Creates and administers interactive online forms and documents, tracks and reports user analytics, creates tracking link, statistics, SEO, other metrics, and aggregate data for each platform. Must be flexible and be able to attend various FSS events/functions (days /evenings /weekends/ holidays) to provide media coverage, including live streaming. Other duties include but are not limited to collateral updates in all FSS facilities, weekly briefings presentations to promote the squadron and events. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Degree with emphasis in business, marketing, communications and/or web design is strongly desired. Experience which provides a general knowledge of marketing/advertising principles and practices. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform research, select, arrange and compose material and maintain well-organized files. In addition, must have specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to design and layout advertising copy and artwork using desk top publishing software, word processing and other software. Experience developing, conducting and analyzing market research information. Skilled in Adobe Suites (Photoshop, Lightroom, PremierPro, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Microsoft applications, social media platforms such as - Meta Business Suite, and WordPress. Efficient DSLR camera/video. Ability to read, write and speak English. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public.
Education
