Shuttle Driver – Fast Park & Relax

Earn $10.50/hour plus cash/non-cash tips!

Location:  2300 Spirit of Texas Drive Near Airport Terminal (Austin Bergstrom Intl Airport)
Schedule:

  • 11pm - 7am (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday)

Position Overview

As a Shuttle Driver, you will provide friendly, timely, and secure transportation for guests traveling to and from the airport. You’ll operate clean, wellmaintained vehicles and serve as a key part of creating a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a shuttle bus while adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations
  • Transport passengers to and from designated locations on established routes and schedules
  • Maintain accurate trip counts and required documentation
  • Complete pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections and report any issues
  • Keep the shuttle interior and exterior clean and orderly
  • Deliver excellent customer service and address passenger questions courteously
  • Assist passengers with luggage and belongings
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, guest ambassadors, and team members
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Participate in required DOT and company training
  • Report accidents or incidents immediately
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. 

Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate and work 12am – 8am.
- Experience working with diverse populations and providing excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to maintain a safe driving record and adhere to safety regulations.
- Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of defensive driving techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to navigate efficiently in various traffic conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other staff.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed.
