Assistant Ai Labeling information

What is an assistant AI labeling?

Assistant AI Labeling jobs involve reviewing, tagging, and categorizing data such as images, text, or audio to help train artificial intelligence and machine learning models. These roles are essential because accurate labeling ensures that AI systems can learn to recognize patterns and make decisions effectively. Tasks may include drawing bounding boxes around objects in images, transcribing spoken words, or classifying text according to given guidelines. The work is often done using specialized software and requires attention to detail as well as consistency. Assistant AI Labelers may work remotely or in-house for tech companies, research organizations, or data annotation firms.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an assistant AI labeling?

To thrive as an Assistant AI Labeling Specialist, you need strong attention to detail, accuracy, and an understanding of data annotation practices, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with data labeling platforms, annotation tools, and sometimes basic knowledge of programming languages like Python is beneficial. Dependability, time management, and the ability to follow complex instructions are crucial soft skills for excelling in this role. These skills ensure high-quality labeled data, which is vital for training accurate and reliable AI models.

What are some common challenges faced by assistant AI labeling professionals, and how can they be addressed?

Assistant AI Labeling professionals often encounter challenges such as maintaining consistency and accuracy when labeling large volumes of data, especially with ambiguous or subjective cases. To address these challenges, most teams implement clear annotation guidelines, regular training sessions, and peer review processes to ensure high-quality outputs. Collaboration with data scientists and project managers is also key, as open communication helps clarify uncertainties and align labeling practices with project goals. Embracing feedback and staying flexible as guidelines evolve can further enhance both the quality of work and job satisfaction in this role.

Job description

About The Role
As a Medical Assistant PRN in our growing urgent care clinic, you will play a key role in supporting both front and back office operations on an as-needed, hourly basis. Working alongside our providers and clinical staff, you will assist with patient triage, direct patient care, and a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality, and compassionate service. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, is proficient with phlebotomy, EKGs, and vaccine/medication administration, and enjoys delivering excellent customer service. The PRN/per diem schedule offers flexibility, making this a great opportunity for someone seeking variable hours while contributing meaningfully to patient care.
What You'll Do
  • Perform patient triage, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, chief complaint, and documenting information accurately in the medical record.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments in an urgent care setting.
  • Perform phlebotomy, collect and properly label specimens, and prepare them for laboratory processing.
  • Administer vaccines and medications under provider orders, following proper safety and documentation protocols.
  • Perform and assist with diagnostic tests such as EKGs, ensuring proper technique and clear, accurate tracings.
  • Prepare exam rooms between patients, including cleaning, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
  • Support front office operations, including greeting and registering patients, verifying insurance information, and collecting co-pays as needed.
  • Answer phones, schedule or adjust appointments, and route messages to clinical staff and providers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide clear instructions and education to patients and families regarding procedures, follow-up care, and clinic processes as directed by the provider.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, addressing patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and other team members to support efficient clinic flow and a positive patient experience.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for documentation, order entry, and communication in accordance with clinic protocols.
  • Work variable PRN/per diem shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with flexibility to adapt to changing clinic needs.

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an urgent care, primary care, or similar clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in both front and back office Medical Assistant duties, including patient triage, rooming patients, and administrative support.
  • Demonstrated skills in phlebotomy, including safe blood draws and proper specimen handling and labeling.
  • Experience performing EKGs, with the ability to obtain clear, accurate tracings following established protocols.
  • Competence in vaccine and medication administration under provider supervision, with knowledge of proper dosing, injection techniques, and documentation.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally, courteously, and compassionately with patients and families.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced urgent care environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfort using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven reliability and flexibility to work PRN/per diem hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of standard infection control, safety practices, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative care team.

As a physician-founded and led organization, ensuring everyone has access to quality healthcare is what inspires us.
