Position Title: Substitute Teacher (EC - 12th Grade)
Location: Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School District
Position Type: On-Call / As Needed

Job Summary

Substitute teachers are responsible for delivering instruction to students in grades EC - 12th in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position ensures the continuation of learning and upholds classroom expectations and procedures.

Substitutes may collaborate with other instructional staff, administrators, counselors, and district personnel to support student learning and address classroom needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons aligned with district curriculum and teacher plans
  • Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Communicate clear learning objectives using effective teaching techniques
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful classroom environment
  • Encourage positive behavior and classroom discipline
