Job description

The Assets Protection Manager is responsible for providing safety, security, and risk management expertise across Pizza Hut U.S. equity restaurants. This role partners closely with operations, HR, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders to protect team members, customers, and brand assets.

This leader serves as a trusted advisor to the business-developing and implementing strategies that reduce risk, strengthen safety culture, and ensure a secure and welcoming environment across restaurants. The role requires strong field engagement, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence across a complex, multi-unit environment.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5-10+ years in assets protection, loss prevention, safety, or risk management
  • Experience in multi-unit retail, restaurant, or similar environment preferred
  • Experience leading investigations, incident response, and crisis management
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and influence across stakeholders

2. Field Partnership & Consultation

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to operations leaders, providing guidance on safety, security, and risk mitigation
  • Build leader capability to effectively prevent and respond to incidents
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Risk, and Operations to drive consistent execution

3. Incident Response & Crisis Management

  • Respond to escalated safety, security, and crisis incidents impacting team members or customers
  • Support leaders through incident resolution, ensuring appropriate protocols and communication
  • Manage sensitive and confidential situations with sound judgment and professionalism

4. Investigations & Compliance

  • Lead investigations into theft, policy violations, and safety incidents using appropriate investigative techniques
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., law enforcement) as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards

5. Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze trends and data to identify risks and inform business decisions
  • Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and recommend actionable solutions

6. Technology & Innovation
