DC Asset Protection Operations Specialist

Overview: Reporting to the DC Asset Protection Manager, the Asset Protection Operations Specialist will support AP Operations for the SNIPES Distribution Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bag and coat inspections for all employees, vendors, and visitors entering or exiting the facility.
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the facility, including pilferage and end-of-day trailer inspections.
  • Assess physical security measures and monitor virtual camera systems to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform daily perpetual inventory count of high value products.
  • Perform daily trailer seal inspections in partnership with the logistics team.
  • Test all Asset Protection (AP) equipment daily to confirm functionality. Partner with the DC APM when deficiencies are identified for quick resolution.
  • Monitor CCTV systems daily with a focus on high-risk areas within the DC.
  • Provide escorts for visitors and vendors as needed to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Access Control Procedures and report any incidents to the DC APM.
  • Ensure all photo studio products are inspected and verified prior to it exiting the building.
  • Partner with Inventory Control (IC) during the processing of damages to ensure damaged products are disposed of per policy.

Qualifications:

  • High school education.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to interact with all levels of management.
  • Available for flexible shift work, late hours, and/or weekend (Four 10-hour shifts per week)
  • Excellent Technical or PC skills Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced changing work environment.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening.
  • State issued security license preferred.
  • Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English)
