Job OverviewThe Loan Servicing Associate will support Peachtree's loan servicing and asset management activities with a primary focus on loan and investment servicing, analysis, and loan draw processing. You will work closely with the in-house asset management team, our external servicing group, underwriting teams, borrowers, participant lenders and other key stakeholders. The position requires strong written and verbal communication, as well as excellent interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills. Attention to detail is crucial.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze loan data to make informed decisions and coordinate internally with borrowers, loan participants, lenders, and with our external servicing group.
  • Maintain renovation budgets, review and analyze draw requests, and coordinate with borrowers, construction monitoring firms, loan participants, and others to smoothly process and fund loan draws.
  • Work with borrowers to interpret loan information, provide reporting data, and foster a customer-friendly experience.
  • Work with loan participants and senior lenders for regular reporting, one-off analyses, and payments.
  • Develop loan reporting data, including payment histories, escrow analyses, and other reporting needs.
  • Review and facilitate the onboarding of new loans, both originated or acquired.
  • Coordinate and create real and prospective loan return analyses to be used to make informed investment decisions and to calculate realized investment returns.
  • Ad-hoc review of loan documents to ensure compliance with loan covenants and restrictions.
  • Work with accounting teams to transfer funds and resolve payment issues as needed.
  • Work to improve existing loan servicing and asset management processes.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong project management skills. Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments relating to a wide variety of tasks.
  • Strong communications (verbal and written), organization and presentation skills.
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • Working knowledge of lending terminology, industry standard loan terms, structures, and concepts.
  • Comfortable aggregating and interpreting data from a wide variety of sources.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative approach with business partners at all levels of the organization.

Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate or related field.
  • 3-5 years of Loan servicing, asset management, construction draw processing, commercial lending, or private equity experience preferred.
