As a Finance & Business Management Associate within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Risk, you will support the Risk team in promoting operational excellence, ensuring effective governance, and enabling strategic initiatives. You will Support business resiliency planning and testing and track readiness. You'll also support audit/exam readiness tracking and materials organization.
Job Responsibilities
  • Run the day-to-day operating cadence for the Risk team (meetings, priorities, communications, and follow-ups), including coordination of off-sites, town halls, and all-hands and preparation of supporting materials
  • Provide risk committee secretariat support, including agenda/materials coordination, minutes and action tracking, and timely close-out of follow-ups
  • Maintain effective governance routines and artifacts, including calendars, documentation, and inventories; coordinate outsourcing / IAS activities and maintain inventory of charters and required governance artifacts
  • Facilitate onboarding and role-based access management for new team members
  • Maintain records management and data storage ownership practices; coordinate report inventory recertifications and required updates/attestations
  • Support real estate/space activities (moves, planning)
  • Support planning and administration, including headcount/position tracking, budget/expense adherence activities, and assistance with annual activities (e.g., IRM assessments), compliance monitoring, and policy/procedure management
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
  • Work closely with teams across risk management and other lines of business to share best practices and solve complex problems
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to drive impactful solutions
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage technology, including AI tools, to streamline processes and add value (consistent with JPMorganChase-approved tooling and applicable policies)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization across competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to strong compliance and governance standards
  • Experience supporting governance routines, committee processes, or operational programs in Risk, Controls, or a similar environment

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Familiarity with process improvement and automation; experience with approved AI-enabled tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SharePoint and data management tools a plus
