Own a portfolio, drive recovery outcomes, locate assets, coordinate repossessions, negotiate resolutions, and play a direct role in reducing losses while helping small businesses navigate challenging situations.

About the Role
The Portfolio Specialist - Asset Recovery & Remarketing helps Clicklease reduce losses and maximize asset recovery by managing delinquent account portfolios from first contact through repossession, recovery, and asset disposition.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on repossession and skip tracing experience who enjoys negotiation, problem-solving, account ownership, and working in a fast-paced environment where individual performance directly impacts business results.
The Team
You'll join a small, highly collaborative team focused on asset recovery, repossession coordination, transportation logistics, and remarketing operations. The team partners closely with Risk, Legal, Vendor Management, and other operational groups to achieve recovery goals while delivering a professional customer experience.
What You'll Do
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of delinquent accounts and serve as the primary owner of recovery activities.
  • Negotiate settlements, reinstatements, voluntary surrenders, and other account resolutions.
  • Perform skip tracing and asset-location activities to support recovery efforts.
  • Coordinate repossession, transportation, and recovery activities with third-party vendors.
  • Manage recovered assets through the remarketing process to support efficient disposition and minimize holding costs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

What You Have
  • 2+ years of experience in asset recovery, repossession, collections, or a related recovery environment.
  • Hands-on experience with repossession processes and coordinating recovery activity.
  • Experience performing skip tracing and asset-location activities.
  • Experience managing customer accounts, portfolios, or recovery-related workflows.
  • Experience handling customer negotiations and account resolution activities.
  • Experience using CRM systems, business software platforms, skip tracing tools, or account management systems.
  • Experience maintaining accurate customer and recovery records and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Experience working directly with repossession agents, recovery vendors, or transportation providers.
  • Experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, consumer finance, auto finance, or related financial services.
