Assembly

SEEK is recruiting for dedicated and skilled Assembly Workers for our client in Mayville! In this role, you'll be responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of parts and subassemblies for our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and SCAG products, contributing directly to the production of high-quality equipment.

Position –Assembly

Job Location –Mayville, WI

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Temp to hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –1st shift with OT on Saturday

Starting Pay –$17 to $20

Benefits –Medical, vision, dental

Required Education –High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –Prior manufacturing experience helpful

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within a highly technical environment.

  • Strong basic math skills.

  • Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly.

  • Previous forklift experience.

  • Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment.

  • Basic knowledge in blue prints reading and torque values.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.

  • Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.

  • High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from is accredited institution.

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
