Job Summary**
The Lead Assembler at is responsible for guiding a team of assemblers in the efficient and accurate production of electronic components and systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. This role involves both hands-on assembly work and leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and motivate a team of assemblers to meet daily production targets and quality objectives.
* Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior assemblers on assembly techniques, safety procedures, and quality control.
* Perform complex assembly tasks, including reading blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
* Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
* Troubleshoot assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate production records and report on team performance.
* Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
* Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are strictly followed by the team.
* Assist with inventory management related to assembly components.
* Operate and maintain various assembly tools and equipment.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing role.
* Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within an assembly environment.
* Strong understanding of electronic components, assembly techniques, and quality control procedures.
