Job description

Summary:Install the configured electronics into the Auggie on the line, make all connections, and run the functional test. A handson electronicsassembly role with light guided testing.

Responsibilities

  • Install the electronics assembly into the enclosure; insert ribbon cables (touch & display) and secure with fasteners.
  • Make all internal and external connections - sensors, display, power, cabling, and harness connections - per the assembly work instructions.
  • Install the battery, power on, remote in, and correct the display.
  • Run the functional QC test application and verify results against pass criteria; reseat or repair connection issues and escalate true failures.
  • Work to standard cycle time (takt), follow ESDsafe handling, and log defects.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Electronics/mechanical assembly experience: cable & harness work, ribbon cables, connectors, fastening, and reading assembly drawings.
  • ESDsafe handling; strong dexterity and consistent, repeatable quality.
  • Comfortable running guided software tests and reading basic results.

Preferred

  • Hand soldering / rework experience; IPC/WHMAA620 (cable & harness), IPCA610 (assembly), or JSTD001 (soldering) certification.
  • Basic IT literacy (remotesupport tools, interpreting test output).
