Job description

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products and components according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This role requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Based on internal assembly technician job descriptions and requirements.


Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to specifications.

• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assemblies.

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues.

• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.



Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to use hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and quality. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.



Preferred Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude.
