POSITION PROFILE:

Attollo Engineering is seeking a technician to support fast-paced production manufacturing of integrated dewar and cooler assemblies (IDCAs). This role focuses on learning and executing standardized assembly processes while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and safety. This role also will perform basic assembly and inspection tasks under supervision and contribute to production by following established procedures and documenting results accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow documented procedures and work instructions to assemble IDCAs
  • Perform basic assembly, handling, and inspection tasks under supervision
  • Participate in training for dewar assembly processes and related manufacturing procedures
  • Conduct incoming inspection of components using standard measurement tools and equipment
  • Maintain cleanroom standards, including adherence to FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and ESD protocols
  • Identify and report defects, nonconformances, and process issues to engineering or supervision
  • Accurately document work performed and communicate results and observations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, or similar precision manufacturing environment
  • Experience assembling and testing dynamic electro-mechanical systems (motors, actuators, or similar devices)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly, alignment, and tolerance control
  • Experience performing functional and performance testing, including data collection and analysis
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
  • Organized and methodical work style
  • Willingness to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Good fine motor skills for precision assembly work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks with supervision
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.

IDEALLY, YOU'LL ALSO HAVE:

  • Associates or bachelor's in engineering disciplines a plus
  • Familiarity with hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hex keys, etc.)
  • Basic mathematical skills (unit conversions, decimals, fractions)
  • Familiarity with laboratory or manufacturing environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required

SALARY RANGE: Hourly compensation is $30.00-$36.00. Plus participation in an individual performance bonus plan.
