Job description

Job Title: Assembly B 

Job Code: 41952

Job Location: Londonderry NH

Job Schedule: 4x10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week

Job Description:

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to moderately complex production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies within the Battery Pack Production Line. Works from work instructions and uses hand and/or power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed units and supports multiple active workstations to maintain production flow.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.
  • Support multiple Battery Pack assembly workstations as required to maintain throughput and bench coverage.
  • Continuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conduct functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly.
  • Identify straightforward assembly issues and report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization.
  • Perform accurate data entry and record keeping to support traceability requirements.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
  • Apply basic math skills to perform measurement and assembly calculations.
  • Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives.
  • Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Perform basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteria.
  • Participate in meetings and working groups to solve problems and communicate issues.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate's Degree.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to identify routine process deviations within defined procedures.
  • Entry-level soldering certification, if applicable.
  • IPC J-STD-001 Solder certification (if applicable).
