Join Our Team as a Production Assembler! Chart Industries is currently seeking enthusiastic Production Assemblers to join the Chart ACHEs (Air Cooled Heat Exchanger) team. 

Chart's Production Assembler position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart's products. This position will be responsible for helping to produce high quality manufactured products used all over the world, while aiming to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together our products.

What Will You Do?
  • Assist in the assembly of air-cooled heat exchangers
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company and industry safety standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain required production and inspection records
  • Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
  • Test finished products for defects.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
  • People person, work will with team members and coworkers in other departments.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...
  • Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
  • Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
  • Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
  • Repetitive hand movements during the assembly process
  • Working at heights (use of fall protection)
Your Experience Should Be...

High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Understanding and use of basic blueprints
  • Ability to use and understand various measuring devices
  • Overhead crane experience.
  • Fall protection experience.
