Job description

Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc. currently has openings for production positions at our facility in Bryan, OH.

For over 110 years, Bard Manufacturing Company has been a family owned and operated company, leading the HVAC industry in the modular, classroom, equipment shelter, and other light commercial markets. With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Performs repetitive work at a work station or assembly line, assembling metal, electrical, or mechanical components/parts into an HVAC unit.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs any assembly functions, using hand or power tools
  • Monitor and responsible for the overall quality of the work being performed
  • Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes
  • Install wiring
  • Operate fork lift, as required
  • Ability to use hand or pneumatic power tools
  • Performs activities in accordance with the procedures outlined in the work instructions and drawings
  • Ability to read and understand drawings/blue prints, as well as read a tape measure and angles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Sheet metal experience is preferred.
