Job description

Provides general production support and performs assembly, processing, packaging, and/or machining operations in accordance with standard work instructions and other specifications.  Contributes to customer service and operational results by achieving performance expectations for productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and safety. Responsible for coordinating daily workflow through final assembly, packing, and shipping to meet customer delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for final assembly, packing, and shipping operations to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensures proper labeling and identification of outbound materials.
  • Coordinates freight carriers and completes shipping transactions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provides troubleshooting and technical support for product quality and process performance issues.
  • Tracks and reports key performance metrics.
  • Collaborates with supervision and other leads to manage resources and respond to changing customer requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with work instructions and company policies and procedures.
  • Assists with creation, maintenance, and improvement of procedures and work instructions.
  • Supports continuous improvement and problem-solving teams; makes recommendations to improve safety, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and complying with legal regulations.
  • Verify product quality at each operation and report all potential defects.
  • Supports quality and organizational goals by completing assigned activities as needed.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Good communication skills with managers, supervisors, leads, and operators.
