Job description

Job Title: Cleanroom Production Operator

Responsibilities

  • Perform general production labor including loading and unloading various types of cleaning equipment, miscellaneous assembly, inspecting parts, alcohol wiping, swabbing, nitrogen drying, leak testing, function and flow testing, bagging, and packaging.
  • Operate air and electric drivers, LPC testing equipment, bag sealers, leak check tools, and ultra sonic wash equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Inspect parts with close attention to detail, identifying deviations that could interrupt productivity or affect quality.
  • Perform deburring and polishing of metal, plastic, and other parts to meet required finish and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle fragile products carefully and perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality and quantity output.
  • Maintain proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including coveralls, boots, hairnets or headcovers, face shields, and gloves.
  • Work in the cleanroom, clean line, or assembly areas for the entire shift as workflow and production schedules dictate.
  • Train and work in other production areas as needed to support changing production schedules and priorities.
  • Follow all safety and cleanroom requirements, including 5S standards, and maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Perform computer data entry and maintain logs and other necessary documents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work as a team member to help others uphold departmental standards, including quality goals and on-time delivery goals.
  • Identify and communicate issues or deviations that may impact productivity, quality, or safety to appropriate personnel.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
