Job description

We have an opening for a Production Associate in our Vernon Hills, IL location.

The Production Associate is responsible for assembling finished products using small hand tools, supporting the companyโ€™s production goals while ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality. This role involves operating specialized computer software and equipment. Youโ€™ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly while supporting overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Small component assembly using small hand tools to meet daily production goals.

  • Utilize computer programs to service circuit boards and verify product information.

  • Thorough inspection of finished goods to ensure quality standards and expectations are met.

  • Pick and prepare necessary materials according to work orders.

  • Provide backup support for the fulfillment team through cross-training as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in a warehouse/assembly setting, preferred
  • Positive attitude and active listening skills to effectively follow instructions and collaborate with team members
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high quality assembly
