Job Title: Production Associate

Location: San Leandro, CA

Pay Rate: $22.00

Job Description

The Production Associate is an entry-level manufacturing position that supports multiple areas of production, including assembly, quality control, packaging, staging, finishing, and material handling. This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Team members will learn a variety of production processes while supporting daily production and quality objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and production activities using hand and power tools while following established work instructions and procedures.
  • Support packaging and staging operations, including preparing products for shipment, labeling materials, and organizing inventory.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
  • Assist with finishing processes, including sanding, painting preparation, and other production-related tasks.
  • Support manufacturing operations involving equipment, printed components, and related production processes.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and quality guidelines.
  • Use basic computer systems and inventory tracking tools to record production information and material movement.
  • Collaborate with team members across production, quality, and logistics functions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support production needs in various departments as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, packaging, or general labor environments.
  • Experience supporting assembly, packaging, shipping, receiving, staging, or material handling activities.
  • Experience following written work instructions, procedures, or production processes.
  • Experience performing quality inspections or quality-focused production tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
