Job Title: Production Associate 1
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Direct Reports: None
Key Relationships: Production Team
Role Purpose:
The Production Associate 1 employee is responsible for the basic assembly of product throughout the production area while adhering to safety, quality, and product delivery protocol.
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Willingness to obtain knowledge of product and processes
  • Ability to cross train for all areas of production
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to follow directives as set forth by team leads and/or management
  • Must be cooperative and flexible at all times
Key Responsibilities:
  • Understands data populated on whiteboard and graphs, and their importance
  • Gains understanding of Continuous Improvement and 5S
  • Understands basic requirements of ESD
  • Basic understanding of Job Order, Drawings, and Work Instructions
  • Basic level knowledge of inventory management
  • Depending on the team they are assigned to, the employee will be responsible for the following operations:
    • Assembly
    • Testing
    • Labeling
    • Silicone Sealing
    • Heat Shrink
    • Forklift Driving
    • Press and Saw Operations
    • Basic Soldering or Crimping
  • Understands the importance of their role in obtaining Vista Quality Objectives
  • Other duties as assigned
