The Production Assembler will work within our warehouse and Manufacturing environment to assemble quality parts. You will be responsible for fastening, erecting, creating sub assembly of components that are made into our finished goods. This position will also require material handling and picking inventory.
Position Purpose
  • Focusing on a healthy work-life balance the Production Assembler will work in a warehouse environment and manufacture quality parts in a safe manner. Responsible for working with metal sheets, assembling, and fitting small parts to complete sub-assemblies, or complete units into a finished product at a workstation. It will require ability to work with assembly machinery including riveting equipment, automated staplers and operating small hand tools.

2. Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities
  • Set-up and operate machines, accurately with attention to detail.
  • Load and unload machines/may be assisted with automation
  • Ability to COUNT and log operational steps in company ERP Systems.
  • Work closely with Assembly Leadership
  • Operate manual or material handling equipment to stage, move raw materials and finished products to various working areas
  • Ability to move wheeled carts, bins and other within the designated work areas
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues when machine is down to meet schedules
  • Perform routine maintenance as needed
  • Inspect product quality as required to minimize errors
  • Verify material is correct and conforming
  • Scrap materials as needed
  • Clean work areas as required
  • Will be cross trained to complete various tasks within the warehouse and shop as needed

  • Organize and maintain material in work area (i.e., free of trash, product neat and orderly, etc.).
