Job description

Who We Are
We are a leading plastics manufacturing company with an emphasis on strategic engineering and innovation. We use the latest processes and software to elevate the way we manufacture parts, all the while forming strong relationships with customers and each other.
Our people are our number-one priority, and we are committed to helping you reach your personal and career goals through continuous learning and development opportunities, competitive compensation and benefits, and an enhanced work-life balance.
Scope of the Role
The Assembly Operations Supervisor ensures assembly work is planned, staffed, and executed to meet quality, delivery, and continuous-improvement goals. This role exists to keep daily production aligned with customer commitments while maintaining safe, organized operations.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining production schedules, tracking departmental KPIs and reporting status in leadership meetings, managing staffing levels, and using the ERP system to produce schedules, maintain production data, and complete required reporting. You will oversee inventory accuracy (cycle counts and transactions across raw, WIP, and finished goods), support setup/assembly as needed, and drive cost-reduction and process-improvement actions. You will also coach, train, and develop team members while ensuring compliance with safety policies and housekeeping standards.
Required qualifications:

- Microsoft Office proficiency, including strong Excel skills

Daily Operating Rhythm
You start by reviewing the day's schedule, current backlog, and any shipping deadlines, then confirm priorities with leads and supporting departments. Throughout the shift, you check progress against plan, update ERP data and simple Excel trackers, and address issues that could affect on-time delivery or quality. You'll spend time on the floor observing workflow, answering questions, and reinforcing safe practices and good housekeeping. Midday often includes quick check-ins to align materials and inventory accuracy, followed by brief huddles to keep communication clear. Before wrap-up, you document status, note constraints, and prepare updates for leadership so the next shift begins with an accurate, controlled plan.
Benefits Snapshot
