Position: Assembly & Operations Technician


Location: Maplewood, MN

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an Assembly & Operations Technician to join our Operations team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and being part of a collaborative team that delivers high-quality solutions to customers.


Role Overview

As an Assembly & Operations Technician at HaFSBX, you'll support the assembly, testing, shipping, and day-to-day operations that keep our projects moving. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Warehouse teams, you'll assemble custom equipment, maintain inventory, support shipping and receiving, and help ensure every project meets our quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their manufacturing and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble material handling equipment using engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
  • Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and final preparation before shipment.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and freight coordination.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and material staging.
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming materials and completed assemblies.
  • Process inventory and shipping transactions within the ERP system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to improve assembly processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical degree, trade school education, or related training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse operations, construction, automotive, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
