Job Description
Hamilton Connections is looking to fill a Production Mechanic/ Machine Operator role for a manufacturing company in East Haven, CT. The Ideal candidate can provide full technical support to the production area. Steady, verifiable work history is a must. Please apply or call us at 2032872870 for consideration.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform complete review of all machinery to gain a full understanding of operation
  • Review all manuals/ documentation for any guidance needed to maintain full operational knowledge of machinery
  • Establish an inventory for all machinery parts on hand
  • Create a list of all parts that are replaced frequently and create a replenishment system (a spare should always be on hand)
  • Create a log for all interruptions during production
  • Review current schedule to ensure that the production room is set up with all necessary equipment for current jobs, Performs preventative maintenance and line change-overs in an efficient and effective manner prior to day of production
  • Clean and maintain maintenance room
  • Ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures - Must be able to work both independently and as a team member
  • Communicates and documents all project work activities, and is able to safely perform the most complex, difficult assignments with minimal to no direction and can answer questions or train other personnel in those areas
  • All other duties assigned by management

Requirements:
  • Must pass all pre-employment screening
  • Must be able to handle all physical aspects of the job
  • Must have a team first approach with schedule flexibility to drive production
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to monitor multiple high-speed assembly machines
  • Must ensure quality expectations

1st shift
Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Pay: $20-$22 an hr DOE
