Job description

Assembly Technician

Our company is a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to aircraft production, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to contribute to our success. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling precision components, and operating various tools. Responsibilities
  • Assemble precision assemblies using drills, reamers, countersinks, and spot face tools.
  • Install press fit and force fit bushings.
  • Assemble and install aircraft and spacecraft parts and equipment.
  • Perform bench top assemblies with or without the aid of jigs and fixtures.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy by trimming, shimming, and removing surface defects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of assembly experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation
  • Aircraft assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Proficiency in using general metrology tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with various types of aircraft fasteners (rivets, pull rivets, hi-loks, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of aircraft sealer experience
