Food Assembly Associate AM Shift

NuVue Foods operates a large Culinary Center in Hamtramck, producing Fresh & Frozen Foods for Convenience Stores, Business Dining Management Companies, and C -Store Distributors around the country – with single serve RTE packaged Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Items. We our looking for a talented individual, with Ambition, Innovative & Creative Vision, willingness to learn production/manufacturing techniques with a passion for Success. NuVue Foods is looking for highly dependable team players to join our staff as Food Assembly Line Associate AM Shift in our Culinary Center. We take pride in our brand’s reputation for excellent food products, as an Assembly Line Associate your responsible for prepping products according to recipes and meeting daily quotas. You must be able to understand and adhere to all tasks and procedures that relates to safe food handling, preparation, and assembly. Job Overview: The Food Assembly Associate will work to assist our management teams goals and ensure product quality for a variety of different prepared food items.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare products according to recipes.
  • Work with production line to meet daily quotas.
  • Flexible schedule to work required overtime and Sundays.
  • Familiar with FIFO procedures
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Adhere to all required tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexible schedule to work required overtime and Sundays.
  • Cold conditions (about 40 degrees inside always)
  • Keep up with the pace of production while meeting quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Perform repetitive lifting up to 10lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Prior experience working in a refrigerated production environment preferred.
  • Must be 18 yrs. or older.

Physical Requirements:

  • Can stand, bend and lift objects with regularity: 100%
  • Can work in variable temperatures for extended periods: 100%
  • Full Time: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
