Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
This role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and team performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Lead and coordinate daily assembly line operations to meet production schedules
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance of line workers to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and SOPs
  • Inspect products and processes to maintain quality standards
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members
  • Report production metrics and issues to supervisors or management
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment or process issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the line
  • All other duties assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control principles
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and ERP systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
  • High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
